Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC is recommended for moderate to severe wrinkles in the face. This is the most widely used product in the Juvéderm® family, results may last up to one year.
Juvéderm® Voluma® is a hyaluronic cheek filler. This filler is recommended to add volume to hollows in the cheeks or to add definition to the apples of your cheeks. The results may last up to two years.
Juvéderm® products are gel formulations that are injected into the layers of skin where your wrinkles develop. The deeper the wrinkle, the deeper the injections.
Juvéderm® fillers require minimal downtime with mild-moderate tenderness, redness or swelling at your injection sites after your treatment, this generally resolves on its own in a few days. All of our patients go back to their normal daily activities without restrictions immediately after treatment.
A single syringe from the Juvéderm Collection of Fillers contains 1.0mL of smooth, crystal-clear hyaluronic acid filler. 1.0mL of filler equals 1/5th of a teaspoon. In other words, it takes five 1.0mL syringes of filler to equal 1 teaspoon.
The results of a Juvéderm filler treatment can last one year to two years with optimal treatment, depending on the type of Juvéderm product used. Please refer to each product below for the estimated duration of results.
